With a score of 85/100 Bepin De Eto’s Greccio Rosso won the Fascetta d’Oro at the 18th Primavera del Prosecco Superiore competition, in 2013. Four hundred wine producers competed in this wine/tourism event which gathers together the local tourist boards around the zone and the fifteen Wine Shows of the Treviso-province hills. Among the winners was the Bepin De Eto Greccio Rosso Colli di Conegliano DOCG, an elegant wine with a garnet-red appearance and a full-bodied, dry, zesty palate; it is aged in wooden barrels for almost two years then in the bottle for at least three months before being released to the market. Through this award, Bepin De Eto Greccio Rosso becomes a worthy global ambassador for a zone rich in values and outstanding products. The awards ceremony will be held on 28 June in Vittorio Veneto’s Da Ponte theatre with special guest Eleonora Daniele, who presents the Italian state broadcaster’s popular Linea Verde tv programme shown on Rai Uno.
